Terrific thank you for such a speedy reply! Won't lie was quite worried I was making myself look stupid and was doing it wrong.

I'm just wondering if anybody gets this at geometry level I can't use any of the selection methods apart from clicking and when I want to select a group of faces for example I have to click 1 by 1. At scene level works fine.
