Hi all, I want to use numpy.1.14 in Houdini(which I've already installed), but Houdini import the old numpy.1.8. How can I specify which numpy to use?

Hi all, now I am in need of a leather shader. There is a soft beige leather shader in houdini 16.5, however it isn't what I want. I don't have redshift or arnold plugin, and I searched Orbolt but there is none. So I am going to learn the shader building in houdini 16.5 in hope to build a leather shader myself.

Any advices on the features of leather? like what reflectance range, roughness, sheen, etc? Also there are some leather images on the internet. If I want to use one of those leather images as a texture, what parameter should I link to the texture?

Or alternatively, should I use the soft beige leather shader houdini provides and manipulate the parameters?

If you have a .hip file as an example to show me, then that will be great!

Sorry guys, it is very weird that today when I tried, it is okay now, no more crash…
Maybe it's because my laptop was too hot the other day, which caused the crash problems.
