In this lesson, you will learn how to use the Geometry solver in Houdini 12 to create footprints in the snow. This powerful new feature gives artists a way to apply procedural operations over time.

For instance the ray node can push a surface to create a footprint but as a character walks, the footprints disappear. The geometry solver makes sure each footprint is retained to create a memory of all the actions taken.
