The Vellum Solver has a new Secondary Constraint Pass option that allows groups of constraints to be solved at a lower frequency than the primary constraints. Enabling this option can improve performance for high resolution cloth with low stiffness bend constraints, and can be also used to avoid jittering from constraint topology changes due to sliding Stitch constraints.

18.5.190

Changed the way that PDG nodes specify their work item generation condition, and the parameter for doing so. The static and dynamic terminology has been replaced by more explicit options. This also includes changes to make it possible to generate work items once all upstream items are generated, even when those items are dynamic. Because of that, it's now possible to create batches or loops from dynamic upstream items.

Partitioner nodes were also updated to account for the changes. They no longer require a toggle for enabling dynamic partioning in order to work properly when wired into dynamic nodes. They also have a new targeted partitioning feature which allows the node to partition when the target generates item, rather than waiting for the inputs to be generated.
