Set Driven Keys and IK Limits
Film/TV

This is an example of how to work with the new APEX rig pose and set driven keys.

We start by setting up the model and rig and systematically adding new animations for each driven key operation.

The strength of this process is that you can model and tweak skeleton positions while setting up the animation for the set driven keys. Keeping things procedural.

We also show how to set up IK constraints using the multi IK rig component.

Sorry, but this scene/rig doesn`t work. I can`t select those levers like the person in the video does, only a slider in the sceneanimate node and there the geo of the flower intersects itself. Where does someone have to click and drag to interact with the geo like in the video?

Hi, Im sorry to hear you are having a hard time selecting the controls. It is working on my end like it is in video, I think there might be a slight issue with how the
select-able geo is indicated when you hover over it at the moment, which makes it hard for you to see what you are able to select.

Try resetting the animation on the scene animate node so it resets the device to the starting position.

      Hope this helps.

Dear William, thanks for your quick and kind assistance and sorry, it was my mistake, there`s no bug. What I missed when watching the video showing the functionality was, that after the first lever was turned, which activates right on touch, you have to explicitly select the next three controls in order to manipulate them. So, once again to anyone reading my above statement: everything with this scene is totally fine and apologies to Sidefx!

How many fps do you guys get when opening the scene?

I have turned on full raytracing and denoising in the viewport. You might have to adjust the settings based on your graphics card.
