Shader Bot

When designing shaders and materials for your 3D projects, it is always good to test them out. With the Shader Bot, you have a piece of geometry that mimics different surface topology situations making it the ideal surface to test out your materials. Set up as a Solaris/LOPS network, you have control over lighting setups, environment maps and more as you tweak the material qualities of your shader.

    Hi Tyler, thanks for this! although I wish that the model has material groups with an explanation how you expose them and assign to different materials, especially if one group was to have materials assigned in some groups for uV scrolling with an infinite & timed loop and or ping-pong/echo loop effect, flashing etc I've seen some "animated texture" workflows that access a sequence of images, that's handy but also expensive if it could instead be done with a color material or a set of textures procedurally. Do you have anything like this with your tutorials? Thanks again.

      Hi Ascensi,

      If you're looking for things related to animated textures, looping stuff, using noises, etc. then shading III is the course that you're looking for. This course - shading theory - is designed to give you a solid start to shading.
