CG-Masters.com, a new online video training service, is pleased to announce the launch of four brand new titles for Houdini. The first of many, these videos are aimed at new Houdini users and specifically toward artists who are less fascinated by fine coding and clever scripting, however there are introductions to these concepts as well.

Very cool! More tutorials is always a good thing and it looks like a solid crew!
( and funny :
He deliberately left his bio short to try and make up for Bowmar and Lewkiw
hahaha! )

Hey, I want to say “thanks” to the Houdini community for the very kind support and many suggestions for more Houdini training. And a huge thanks to SideFX for linking to us on their site. More Houdini training is coming.

I am really interested in advanced use and control of DOP fluids. Optimization and customization. Custom solvers and such.

Advanced DOPs in general (Apply Relationshop for example) and production usage. Management of complex linking and complex objects in DOPs. 2012 style destruction for example. How to deal with hardcore amounts of data efficiently and interchanging data for different effects (smoke/dust hand-off).

More advanced particle effects that I find it hard to achieve with the current toolset, in particular goals and flocking behavior (http://vimeo.com/20066205 [vimeo.com]). Morphing/guiding in stages.

Advanced stuff in general
