The shadow color parameter is the answer for this type of shading effect.

I am looking for something to control motion of rbd pieces so …

Now with H12 I'm doing the custom field stuff for FLIP, it's very very fast. You can then instance objects for each particle; That way it's like control a flock of RBD's.

Do you have some link to give ? hip file to share … maybe ?

For my tests, I followed Peter Quint tutorial about DOP and Keyframe animation. But I can't find anything about vector field …
