Local variables created in VOP POP don't work ?

Hi,

I remember reading something about this a long time ago, can't find it again.
If I add an attribute in a VOP POP and specify a local variable, I can't use it for the scale in a force pop for example.
If I create the attribute with an attribute pop and specify a local variable, it works as expected.
Any particular reason for this ? Nothing in the help either.

Cheers

Try to create your attribute before going into the VOP POP and inside the VOP pop instead of lay down a “ add attribute” use a “parameter” and set it to export your attribute.

I hope that helps.

Cheers!

It's the same either way, using the Add Attribute VOP or Parameter VOP set to export. You have to use the Attribute POP in order for it to map the variable, a little annoying but so long as you turn off Write Values it's not going to slow you down.
