I see some points in the align sop. Do they represent anything? Even the example for the align sop has some similar points. What are they?

They seem very haphazard.

Maybe this is a BUG , try latest Houdini build or upload your project file for checking :?

just made a test and yea these points appear but actually display particle style. and are not actual points. i dont know what they are representing.

however you can just ignore them. add a null and they will be gone

I checked it before without any problem !
Also I checked Align Help Example file with same result !
