Here's our pipeline, one of my colleague simulated a ocean in realflow, exported in SD format. We render it with mentalray in Maya. That's how the whole episode is done.

In some of the shot,a fish jumps out of water,so my job is to simulate the splash.and the splash should interact with the wave.

After I imported the SD file into Houdini with Realflow plugin.I can't match the transformation with that in Maya.
The unit in Maya is centimeter, meter in Houdini.
In Maya it was translated rotated and scaled in parameters below.

Translate X -100
Translate Y 0
Translate Z -800
Rotate X 0
Rotate Y -37
Rotate Z 0
Scale X 1995
Scale Y 42
Scale Z 1995

When I did the same thing in Houdini, the ocean is flat,no wave.I tried to scale it in <<19.95 ,21 ,19.95>>,the size started to look like that in Maya. But the wave didn't match.

What should I do to match the wave?

Group the Object in Maya, export it with the group then scale it to 0.01 in Houdini. That should just work

Or freeze object in maya then export then scale to 0.01 in Houdini
