hail All,
I just had a question with open VDB and Alembic,. In the past I would create my volumes and write / read them from disk using a default ROP. I note that if you attempt to write out a open vdb volume via an Alembic ROP you will of course wont get a volume when you try to read the resulting alembic file.

So just what is best practice with disking your volumes. Stick to the old ROP bgeo workflow ?
