Hi! Is there any chance to make sand emitting from geometry? What I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

I'm afraid the support for Sand hasn't been fully developed yet. It's a pretty tempting looking solver though, unfortunately it's not really ready for use at all. I hope SESI get around to rounding it out and supporting it in the future but if I were you, I'd look for another solution for the next little while.

Hi, the question from 2008 is actual for me in 2015: how is it possible to emit sand/grain as particles for filling a volume? I read in the help about POP Grain, but do not find an example how to pour none stop sand.

Using pop grains, ideally setup from the Grains shelf tools, you can use a normal emitter to continuously emit. The trick is you can't emit where sand already is or you'll get explosions. The “Remove Overlapping: With Existing” option can be used on the POP Source to do this.

When opening your scene I get the message: Skipping unrecognized parameter “lookupobjpath”
But the simulation works as I wanted - thanks again!
