I've tried 3 times to download the apprentice version and the download stops at around 30 - 40 MB downloaded. I'm using windows8.

Not sure what the issue is but probably something on my end.

Nope, not using any managers.

I actually got up to 200 MB on one of my latest attempts. I did this by pausing the download at around the 25MB mark, waiting for a minute and restarting.

I'm guessing it stalled again and if I had been quick enough I might have been able to pause the download and restart.

Very strange indeed.

It seems to fail when you start the download and then log out of the site - if you stay logged in it may work better. YMMV.

I managed to download it successfully with a download manager. Next problem will probably be getting rid of the 15 viruses that came with the download manager!
