It would be nice if there was a faster way to see a list of all the predefined local variables for a node. Yes, they are all in the Help Browser and that's good for a reference but it adds a bit of overhead when you just want to check real quick which variables you have access to. It would be pretty sweet if they were all in the opinfo window so you could just middle mouse on a node and check the list.
Nothing major, just a simple thing to help people with bad memories.
The middle mouse opinfo window is getting pretty cluttered. So maybe add Meta Options to the middle mouse button. Regular Middle Mouse brings up the opinfo. Ctrl+MM brings up the local variables. Shift Middle brings up groups info. etc
meta options would be great…I almost never use the MMB anymore - I use opinfo -v - because we have lots and lots of groups etc…most info just sits beyond the top of my screen…
Then you'd get a big popup? I'd like this too…in fact I'm pretty sure someone asked for this way back when html help was first introduced. It's great to have the online help, etc., but for a lot of things, like this, it's overkill. You just want a quick mind jog.
