I used to be able to create bones in the perspective view that would be perpendicular to the viewport. I'd drop some nulls and set them where I'd like the bones to be, then I'd set my perspective to look down on those null from an angle perpendicular to how I'd want the X to rotate.
So if I chose a certain angle in the perspective view, then the bones created would be placed so that they had the X axis of rotation perpendicular to the view (it would be as if I had created them in the ortho view)
Now, it seems that no matter where you create the bones in perspective, they are aligned to the ground plane.
How can I get the old behavior back?
If not, then what is the new procedure for setting bones to something from the prospective view (not ortho).
Thanks
