Debugging Expressions

Hi,

OK, I have an activevalue node set up to read the color of points from another node in a different network.

For some reason, something isn't working properly and I'm attempting to ‘view’ the result of my Active expression.

point(“../../vase/OUT_ACTIVE_PASSIVE/”,$OBJ,“Cd”,0)

I have a programming background and in this case, I would somehow output or view what the expression was returning so I could see if something else was broken.

Is there a way to do that in Houdini?

Thanks,

Jim

The geometry spreadsheet can be used to view attribute data attached to each element (i.e. points, vertex, primitives, detail).

Select the object you want to inspect then look for the Cd attribute. The color of each point will be shown in the list.
