Hi all.
Im trying to do something very simple and stuggling.

I have a curve with a number of points. Im using a transform to move it and I want to form a new piece of geo that bridges the orignal curve to the new curve point to point, like a maya loft.

I have tried a number of nodes including loft, skin, sweep, creep and rails and none seem to be giving me the results I'm after.

Any help would be appreciated

I think the node I am after is the skin node with the U cross-sections set to 0.

However the in a simple setup with 2 default lines each with a point at each end and slightly offset from each other, when plugged into a skin node the second curve gets moved up to that the resulting plane is not square.

Anyone know why this is?

merge the two curves and try polyExtrude Bridge?

you can upload the file and we can have a look.

Are your curves Nurbs or Polylines? I do this all the time with no problem. Take one curve, transform it, merge, skin, keep as nurbs, then convert.

Post a file and I will look a it.

My curves are nurbs. I will upload a file in a bit if I cant solve this.

arctor which node were you referring to? polyExtrude, or polyBridge.
I cant find a bridge function in the polyExtrude.

I have tried polyBridge but Im getting the warning:
Source group has no boundry chains.

Thanks sl0throp

In a fresh file your “Take one curve, transform it, merge, skin, keep as nurbs, then convert” aproach does what it says on the tin but not in the scene that I was working in.

Problem (kind of) solved

Cheers
