Viscous fluids and collisions

I'm having issues with viscous fluids not handling concave collision geometry. Imagine a flat tray shape, non viscose fluids fill the tray correctly but the moment I turn on viscosity I'm colliding with the bounding box with a slight bulge into the negative space. Ideas?

Have you set up your scene manually or via the shelf tools.

I'm taking a look at your file, here's the issue I'm having in the attached file

Ive had a quick tidy up and all works as expected. Scene noted in green. The main clean was with your collision geometry vdb creation. The exterior / interior voxel banding of 1 is simply not enough to calculate the collision correctly especially when its tied to the particle separation value.
