I'm working with Houdini 8.0.383 and I have the problem I cannot toggle off the cunstruction plane in the ortho views. Also the construction plane parameters have no influence onto the ortho views. Is this a bug?

the c-plane is only for persp viewports.. the ortho ones are set in the display prefs->grid tab..

Why do I have two different grids in Houdini?

the construction plane in the persp view is not really a ‘grid’ like in Maya…think of it as a plane in Maya that you have ‘made live’…that's why it's called a construction plane…you can move it around/rotate etc…
