I was wondering is it possible to import a complex Maya rig with animation into Houdini. I can import a simple rig, but anything rig that has more than five joints keeps on having an error messages. I have tried importing the complex rig as an obj, filmbox_fbx, fbx, and many other file formats into houdini, and I still have the same problem. If is it possible, what process would you go about importing a Maya rig into Houdini?

Hi there, Ms.Milton. Could you please share with us how you imported your complex Maya rig into Houdini? I want to be able to use the characters I rigged using Anzovin Studio's plugins, The Setup Machine 2 and The Face Machine, for crowd sequences. But the controllers for the rigs do not work when I import them in as an alembic file. Any help in this regard would be greatly appreciated.
