Hi everybody !
I’m new on houdini, and as I was trying to work and discover Houdini, after about 4-5min of work I had this error :
Segmentation Fault !
I joined screenshots of the soft when the error appears and a sc of the report !
I don’t know how to fix it, I tried to reinstall it but the bug was still there (I also reinstalled my gpu driver).
I have a msi with:
Intel core i5 6300 HQ
GeForce GTX 950M
8 go Ram
Windows 10
I hope someone will help me to fix it !

I've been having the similar issues since the start of the year, finally fixed it. From what I can tell it was the TdrDelay being too low.

Here's an explanation for how to change it.

kidkasperHow much you set the TdrDelay to? In substance painter I used 60. How much houdini needs to do a pop source sim ?

After investigation, it turned out that it was because of Nahimic, an audio enhancer software on my laptop which was trying to make sound out of the 3D space. I removed it and then I was able to work properly. Try to see if you have an audio enhancer installed on your computer and remove it, and let me know !
