I am attempting to do something and I would like to get a .png file into a geo node.

Do I need an .ai file? Or is there a way to get geometry (or something inside a geo node) from a .png (or .jpg)?

If you want just an outline of a picture, you can use the ‘trace’ sop to trace the edge of a shape in the input image.
