I have some geometry(small grids) copied to points on a Sphere surface using the new Copy to Point SOP.

Now I need to have these tiles collide with the sphere.

I tried simply defining the sphere as a static object and then applying a RBD solver to my tiles but this doesn't work. The tiles are affected by gravity force but simply fall right through the sphere as though it wasn't there.

Can anyone suggest the proper way to achieve collision when you have geometry copied to (scattered) points in this way?

I am in the same boat. It's the first thing I tried to do to replicate what can be done in MASH or Mograph. Did you find a solutions?

edit: I just realized this thread was super old. Maybe someone has some pointers anyways.
