UV Rotating Simulated RDB Collision

I have simulated a Cube breaking through RBD, and the sim looks good, but I cannot apply my preferred texture as the UVs keep rotating in X space. I have tried applying a rest position SOP but that has proven ineffective.

How can I freeze my UVs so they do not rotate?

are you adding uv after the simulation? reference frames such as rest or uv should be created before simulation.
