So in my scene I used a voronoi fracture + a bunch of glue constraints to simulate a well being smashed. I only need the geo from one frame of the simulation which I need to export and bring back into Maya for rendering.
So far I have been unable to find a way to successfully export the simulated geo as an .obj. I have tried saving the dopimport's geo by right-clicking and “saving geometry” and attaching a file node to write out the files. Both methods are able to export .bgeo files without issue but when exporting .objs they yield the below errors.
Im really at a loss as Apprentice does not let you use the rop exporters that most tutorials favor.
