saving FBX per frame (with $F)?

Hi!

I've done this before but I can't remember how. I've set my rop_fbx to save 1000 to 1002 and I've set the Output file to be $HIP/geo.$F.fbx.

It only saves frame 1000 (geo.1000.fbx). What am I doing wrong?
