New Houdini user here.

When I save and close Houdini, I lose the tabs I have setup in the Network Editor pane.

If I have them setup like this:

When I close and reopen, the tabs revert back to the default:

Is there any way to save this data with the file, or maybe setup default tabs that I might use each time I open Houdini?

Hi there,

Tabs are part of your desktop. Default Desktop is "Build“. When you click on the ”Build“ menu on the top, you'd see a list of available Desktops (Animate, Games, Lookdev etc) and then you'll see options like ”Save Current Desktop“ and ”Save Current Desktop As". Once you have setup your tabs, use either of these options to save the Desktop. Please note that Save Current Desktop will overwrite your current desktop.
If you're doing a Save As, you need your to set your newly saved desktop as the default desktop.

Go to Edit -> Preferences -> General User Interface -> Startup in Desktop (Choose your new Desktop).

Hope it's clear. Please let me know if any questions.
