Suddenly the ladder popup to adjust values disappears regularly in all input fields.

I can adjust the values when I use the MMB over a parameter, but I can't change the increment anymore because I don't see the ladder. I have to restart Houdini to get it back.

Is it just me, or is this a known bug ?

I didn't encounter with this since I was using 18.0.416!
Nonetheless you may want to update your graphics driver and also try newer builds.

Nope, not just you. I'm currently using 416 and have had this issue occassionaly for at least 2 months or more, so even maybe with build 318 it may have already been there?

I don't think it has anything to do with drivers as mine are kept up to date.

I've never been able to get it to do this ‘on command’, i.e. make it reproducable, so haven't filed a bug.

Hey, thanks, I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed.

I suspect its just overall Houdini GUI flakiness. i’ve been noticing all kinds of strange MMB popups disappearing, like the icon mouse pointer popup rollovers, or Stuff like the MMB popup to switch from a edge or point, or primitive selection.

The Houdini GUI definitely could use some attention I think.
