I am trying to change several parameters at once with the selected nodes and it is not changing like before, am I missing something?

Ive seen this bug before in 18.0
It has something to do with the panes desyncing and the nodes not really being selected. I thought it was fixed though as I haven't encountered the issue in awhile. I think I got it to go back to normal after restarting Houdini.

Thanks for the feedback but it still not working for me after restarting on 18.5.

And I just start another houdini session on another machine and the problem is the same.

UPDATE:
I did a little more digging and I found out that it has something to do with the settings that a imported from 18.0 I just wish I knew exactly what setting or config it was.

UPTADE:

More digging and I found out that it has something to do with older custom Desktops I think there's some new option that has something to do with “synch” nodes that 18.5 now has that 18.0 didn't I am trying to find which and where it is. If someone know something about it be welcome to share.

I just want make sure that it is a bug but I think it is.

The image shows some parameters ui components behaving weirdly on the same houdini 18.5 session.

I just split top bottom and used the “P” to call the parameter ui in the bottom pane.

The top pane is showing a grey value because the 3 parameters have different values the bottom don't.

The bug also happens if the parameter an network panes are ‘linked’ instead of ‘follow current node’.

For linked windows I was able to get it to work by selecting all nodes, then pinning the parameter window temporarily
