I am looking for an advanced masterclass or tutorials on body and facial rigging in Houdini 18, preferably using KineFX, anyone has suggestions?
Here is a reference video of what I want to achieve, this is a free character rig for Blender, and it is pretty solid, I would like to reproduce something similar in Houdini!
The current KineFX toolkit is the first iteration of a longer development process for character workflows in Houdini. Right now the main strength is procedural motion editing - that is, working with existing animation clips - and the rigging & character setup tools are still pretty basic. The immediate roadmap for KineFX is to provide functionality to create the kinds of rigs you're demonstrating. Keep an eye out for Houdini 19.
I found a few KineFX tutorials, like this one, and I must say that the future of Houdini as an animation tool feels pretty good right now, I just can't wait to see what they come up with for KineFX in H19!
