I created a simulation of dry dog food falling into a bowl. everything looks nice but it won't stop the particle production. It would seem very easy to enter in the popobject - creation frame $ F <100, but unfortunately it does not work. Particles are still born after frame 100.
I don't know which birth activation options you have available but you need to write the same $F < 100 to either Impulse Activation or Const. Activation under the Birth tab of the POP Source. Check the screenshot.
