Hello everyone!

I've been learning Houdini for the past weeks and I wanted to ask something about the COP network.

Basically I would like to combine two images and select which channels go through to the result allowing me to reorder the channels of the inputs. I used Touch Designer quite a lot and they have a really handy operator that is called 'Reorder'. This OP allows you to do exactly that operation and I wanted to know if there is a way to do the same in the COP Network in Houdini.

I attached an example of how this 'Reorder' OP works in TD to show my desired result:

It inputs two images, input1_RBG and input2_RGB. Then I select that I want to keep the RGB channels from input1 and use the R channel from input2 as the new alpha. This creates an output that is RGBA. I hope the image can illustrate what I am referring to.

Thanks a lot!

You're looking for the "Channel Copy" composite node. It works similarly to your example.

Thanks! "Channel Copy" was what I was looking for.

For anyone wondering how to use it, I attach an image with the solution in Houdini.
