Hi folks,
How can I have particles occluding objects behind them so that I can render them separately and send them to do comp?
I tried to make an object that looks almost the same as the particles and used it as matte object but there has to be a better way.
Thanks for your helps.

What problems are you experiencing using particles as matte?
Matte is using opacity of the material, so if your particles are just additive or have very low accumulated opacity they will not cover much
But that doesn't mean that using them as matte is not correct, since during the full render you would get the same level of occlusion and the rest is additive
