3D Scan store - Displacement

I bought a hand model from the 3d scan store library.
As far as I can judge, the displacement does not work properly out of the box together with redshift.
The base model gets always pushed out way to far.

Does somebody know if I have to take care of some specific parameters when using scans from 3dscanstore?

Thanks for you help!

It's possible that your displacement texture is in normalized 0-1 range

In which case it should ideally have 0.5 representing no displacement, so you just need to shift the range accordingly

Judging from parameters on your screenshot you will likely need to adjust the New range min/max parameters to -1 and 1 (or -.5 to .5, this is arbitrary as long as 0.5 will remap to 0, since it's also scaled with scale parameter)
