Subd not working?

Just loaded this old scene and the geo isn't being rendered with subdivisions in H20. Works as expected in 19.5. Is there a new setting somewhere I need to change?

Just isolating the geo, it's definitely not working in H20.

Before packing up a test scene I tried deleting the H20 user folder. That fixed the problem! Must be something left over from 19.5 that conflicts. Will have to move things over one by one until I find the culprit.

Found the cause of the issue. I have a .json package instead of using houdini.env. If I remove {"HOUDINI_DISABLE_CONSOLE": 1}, from it then subd works in Solaris. Any idea why this would happen?

Quick update on this: I submitted a bug report but since I'm probably the only person on earth having this problem I imagine it's very low priority. I did however stumble on an alternate env variable: HOUDINI_TEXT_CONSOLE. This replaces the console with a normal window, which is much less annoying than the default behavior. And subd works too!
