Hello,

I want to attached a shovel to animated character from Mixamo, there are 2 hands location where the character is holding the shovel, when using rivet node i can attached just 1 hand side to the object and its look weird, how can i combine multiple rivet nodes or am I'm doing it wrongly?

It sounds like you work at object level, but bring in character using Kinefx, since you are using rivets?

In either way in your case you can parent a Null object to your first Rivet and create Look At constraint on the Null to look at the second Rivet

Then parent the Shovel to the Null and orient in a way that it points along the look at direction

You can of course recreate similar setup at SOP level using kinefx constraints between hand joints or using APEX even though APEX may be unnecessary for this task if you are just parenting to mocap

YES.

I was watching a small tut in YouTube using "capturepackedgeo" that works fine up until I merge it with the Mixamo bone deform the Shovel is shifting from the position I set...Still trying to figure it out...Sorry Im trying to learn houdini im not that expert
