Sorry for causing trouble for the officials again, I feel really bad about it, I feel like I have a lot of problems!
It’s like this!
In daily work, when clicking into an Apex node, the HDU panel pops up automatically. This is quite convenient and a really good setup.
When adjusting models or doing other tasks, since it can block the view, you don’t need to press the G key to hide it. When you need it, just press the G key and it comes back. This is really great!
But sometimes, it happens a bit too often. For example: I’m working in one of the nodes, I close the HUD panel, then I need to work in another node, and when I go back to the original node, the HUD panel shows up again. I have to hide it again—it might not have a memory function.
So, going back and forth between different Apex nodes could take extra time just to press the G key to hide the panel.
I hope I haven't offended anyone, maybe I just haven't found the relevant settings!
Thanks everyone, I love you all

william_harleyThank you so, so much for your response!
Hi, you can hide it by right clicking on the panel and selecting hide. Then if you want to unhide it use the "G" shortcut.
I knew this, maybe I didn't express myself clearly enough!
What I mean is, when I press the G key to hide the HUD at the current node, then go to work on another node, and come back, the HUD automatically shows up again. This means I have to press G again to hide it.
Because every time I enter an Apex node, the HUD pops up automatically, and I have to press G to close it every time; if I don't, it blocks my view!
It would be great if there was a memory setting so that at the current Apex node, whether the HUD is off or on, when I go to another node and come back, the HUD would stay in its previous state!
Since I'm using translation software, I'm worried I might not be expressing this clearly!
But really, thank you guys—Houdini makes me happy~ Yay~

william_harleyWow, so it actually has this feature! That's awesome, it solved my need!
Hi, Thanks for the feedback.
What I meant was that G doesnt close it fully, you have to right click and select hide at the moment to fully hide it and then it should rememeber that action.
If not please log a bug.
Thank you
