My problem is that houdini 9 version “real flow plugin”

is not worked well at Houdini 9.1.124…


Is thete a any solution??

or proper upgrading in realflow plugin…???

I want much-needed this plugin…

Attached you'll find the most recent version of the Real Flow-Houdini plugins. Thanks to the find folks at Asylum, I'm able to give this some badly needed attention to the project. Lots of code cleanup, updates, bug fixes, etc. Should have a final version in a few weeks with demo files all updated for H9.1.

and I have a question,What is “dump_rf.sd, Mesh??”

I have used only “sop_rf_export,import.dll”… ops:

The “dump” programs will output the contents of the various Real Flow files as ASCII data so you can examine the contents of the files (and discover what has gone wrong inside Real Flow).

They will be compiled and available with the distro, for now, I've attached the WIN32 version. Will send the Linux versions of everything later today.

Still much more work to do.

And yes, the Maya PDC plugins are on their way soon too.

If Mark doesn't manage to respond in time, can I suggest you attempt compiling them for yourself? Have you ever tried that before? I see the src code is attached above…

i've tried to compiled it but i don't know hoy to adapt it to the version i have, i need the ddl (nose q es) at least for the 8, the thing is that the versions that go around are for the 9.1.147 and that houdini version i can't get it, if you have any idea of where i can get any of the ddl for the version i have o for the 8 i would appreciate it

I've been traveling for the last 3 days (relocating to the beautiful Pacific NW!) and will have my systems up and running in the next few days. I can probably get you a compiled version tomorrow. What OS are you running? I think you wanted a Windows DLL. XP? I can't compile for Vista.

I`m using Windows Vista, but try with XP too.
I`ve two .dll that loads well in vista but when try export make this:

6364: Fatal error: Segmentation Fault

I've compiled the RF plugins for Houdini 9.1.244 on a Wn-XP 32 bit machine (vc7). I don't have access to any other Windows machines at the moment, hopefully this will work for you.

Running 9.1.179 vc8 on Vista, will try on xp too
and using the H9.1.174_RF_WIN32_vc7_v1.0.23.tar.gz.gz

I don't have access to a vc8 compiler, nor any 64 bit Windows box …
