VEX: COP Generators

Silly question, how do I create a VEX COP Generator from the File->New Operator Type menu? Using that method seems to only result in COP Filters. As a work around I've been wiring Color COPs into my COP.

Any ideas? Am I missing something simple?

I usually go into vex context and create it there, is there any difference?

yep. There is no chance to make generator through New operator type

If you go to VOPs there is actually two VOP COPs you can create, a Filter and a Generator, which is what I'd expect. However creating VEX COPs from code via the File -> New Operator Type doesn't appear to give you that choice.
