Does anybody know if Houdini will run on a SAN App Server?

Should do, unless that's some sort of brand name I'm unfamiliar with. You don't mention platform etc. but I do know of companies that have the current install mounted as an NFS mount and it works. Here I just have a script that updates all the systems, I like to have the apps locally, but YNMV of course.

Thank you for that, it's put my mind at ease. We have a new I.T team and they are currently still designing the system so I don't know which platform they are going to go with.
