Hi,
This happens randomly whenever i use Houdini. Typically when i do polyextrude but not exclusively.

Running a q9550 stock speed,
4gb ram
9800GTX
820w corsair PSU

running vista 64 and latest nvidia drivers

I would suggest a bug report with the picture. I had that happen in 9.5 and recall it was a bug.
