Hi, I am Lightwave user trying to learn power of Houdini I have a question about keyframed animation. For example I keyframe animate box. Is it possible to see motion path of that keyframed animation like in LW? And yes, I now that I can use follow path.

My first thought was to just create a line and deform it using CHOPs.

In the attached file I've got 2 boxes that are animated. One at the Object level and one at the SOP level. I also create a couple Line SOPs with the number of points equal to my animation length.

I then dive into CHOPs. For the box at the Object level I create an Object CHOP that references my box's animation. I append a Channel SOP to the line and point it to my Object CHOP and it then positions all the points to the position of the box at each frame.

For the box animated at the SOP level I use a Fetch CHOP to get the animation channels from the Transform SOP.

I totally didn't know there was an asset on there already. It's basically the same thing as what I did but in asset form.

I downloaded it to take a look and part of it didn't work and I found a bug or two so I've uploaded a newer version.

The new version includes being able to add velocity/acceleration to the line, fixes the baking not working, rewriting all the HScript as a Python Module, an issue with if you set the start frame > 1, and I also added a help card.
