Does anyone have experience with the vex/VEXdso file?

We use it to specify which VEX dsos to load. And our pipeline can stash these
in several places. Unfortunately, it appears that only the first one read in the
HOUDINI_PATH is actually used. Is there a way around this, or is it only possible
to have one?

Only the first one gets read AFAIK. If you need to read additional ones then you can use #includes
