grouping objects based on polygons connection/polymesh

im looking for a way to group geometry(imported frm maya)…based on polymesh…..like all polygons coonected to each other should end up in the same group.an eye,shoe,head should appear in different groups

Have a look at the connectivity Sop and the partition Sop, they might help.

Also, the Assemble SOP wraps the Connectivity and Partition nodes. You can peek inside and see how they work together.
