The challenge asks you to create sci fi art in the style of the mid 20th century book and magazine covers using Houdini procedural tools. Model a scene and bring it to life with fluids and other tools in Houdini.

Do you use the Apprentice-version? I think the size for the image is limited - try a size less then 575x575 to avoid the error.

I had the same problem with 5.x and 6.x! Dont laugh - try this:
As an administrator, right-click on My Computer, and then go to
Properties. Under the Hardware tab, open up the Device Manager. Under
“Sound, video, and game controllers”, right-click on the Audio driver
and choose the disable option. Verify that the driver is disabled by
playing some sound. Now try loading Houdini.
