I'm wanting to be able to view the "pointjitter1" node and as I adjust scale, see the pieces update as I move the slider if I wasn't clear.

Howdy! I'm having the age old problem of viewport issues with packed prims.
I want to adjust a point jitter on some packed prims to move pieces around randomly. It will not live update in the viewport at all. A new viewport or reset will have the pieces pop into the current position. An Unpack viewed after the jitter will even live update in the viewport. Any settings or tips I'm missing that could cause this?

That's what I was wondering. Indie looks like its the way to go. Sorry I haven't had the need for a local license in years.

Hey yall, I was looking to get some Houdini to Unreal practice going and am I correct is seeing that even flipbook textures in the apprentice version require being under 1280x720. What should be my best way forward combatting this?

After looking at the collisions and all kinds of stuff for hours… you are correct it was literally only my thickness being too low…. thank you very very much haha. Time to make it thicker and just scale everything up a little.

Anyone have a quick answer to why I can't get collisions to work with an object I made. I created a little wall with a cutout using a boolean. I have a glass plane that is fractured but it will not collided with the new object.
It will collide if it doesn't start inside the object however.

thank you so much! I think this should do the trick. I didn't think about changing the solver. Is RBD just better suited for the fractured objects?

Hello, I am creating a VFX scene that has a big plane of glass that is an aquarium. This glass is a fractured RBD object. I want the glass to crack and have water rush out of the aquarium. I would love to have the feedback force of the flip fluid on so the water will push my glass and it will look more realistic. My problem is the collisions of flip fluids on RBD fractured objects. At first i wanted to created a VBD volume for the collisions but there is no volume sample mode in the options, under collisions, in the RBD Fractured object. Any help would be great. I have hit a wall.
I would like to avoid faking the glass breaking and just having the water go around the objects.

Howdy everyone. I'm following along a digital tutors tutorial and everything has been going ok until i got stuck. The tutorial is on controlling fractures. I have a ceramic head that will be falling apart.
Problem
Im trying to to creat some passive points and active points for the sim. I have white points that I would like to make active and black ones along the outside of the head that i want to be passive. Im using an expression to make the white one active but cant get it to work. Any help would be great.
here is the expression im trying to use
point(“../../head/OUT_ACTIVE_POINT”,$OBJ,“Cd”,0)
