umm, I try to rename the directory and same result, when I import a metaball from other scene or open a scene of previous version then de metaball appears, only when I create the metaball from 10.0.523 the problem accurs.

I try to create a metaball but nothing appears in the viewport, only when I create two metaballs and merge them appears a strange object.

Simple but I can´t find how.
I have a simulation saved as .sim, but I don´t know how export it to geometry.
Import with Object merge from the file node inside the DOP is slow, useless; and try to export from this object merge to bgeo via geometry render node crashed.
which is the solution?

Hello,
I have a curve, make it a wire, constraint the first and last points, play.. its all ok, but the wire never stopped, I play with the force model properties (spring/damping values) but I can`t to make it static.

Hello,
I have a wire object, the first point is attached with a point constraint to a animated object, this works fine, the question is:
How can I move a certain point of the wire object, maintaining the position of the simulaton WITH the new position for this point?
Is like to add a SBD pin constraint for this point with the Goal Object linked to the Constrained Object and the object with the new position.
I have been trying to do it the last week, I am desperate, but I'm sure it has a simple solution.

how can I get the value of a group in primitives for use in a switch sop?
example: if the group A have 10 primitives then switch = 1, else switch=0.

I have a particles with initial state, but I don´t know how aply a force to it because I need a source POp to create a force, and if a put a source POP the I haven´t geometry source..
Any ideas I'm very frustrate, when I aply a group to spring SOP Houdini crashes always

I build a simple formula to get the distance between points, or objects:
sqrt(pow(obj1/TX-obj2/TX,2)+pow(obj1/TY-obj2/TY,2)+pow(obj1/TZ-obj2/TZ,2)),
but I don´t how get the distance of two or more objects from other object, like particles to surfaces, with this formula.
Any ideas? thanks so much

thank you, claudio_101, i didn't know chs operator, only that operator are inside the same object, then the path of name_operator is with only one dot.

ch(“root/name_operator_path/tx”), where this operator path links to xform object
I want to chage the path ch(“../xform/tx”) to ch(“root/name_operator_path/tx”)
I hope you understand me :?
