yay, managed to solve most of my problems with chops
Made a duplicate of my particle network which i gave some spring and lag to, thus ending with a particle system that dragged after it's succesor.
I then calculated the vectors between the old and new points and made that my new velocity attribute.
I now have a dynamic animation that i can easily tweak

So i've got this pop dop setup in H13 that generates a vast field of particles being affected by wind and noise fields. When i then hook up the particles flow with a copy node contraining my dandelion seed mesh, well… the rotation just seems off.
So what i am wondering is, is there an easy way to hook up a point constrain to all of this points to have each dandellion mesh be more dynamic in relation to their respective particles velocity?
Or if theirs any other way to do it? :p
help would be very appreciated

Some months ago I realized that i couldn't visualize any streamers in dop simulations. I just wanted to let others know that I solved the problem by installing an older version of my graphic card driver - geforce gtx 570 (driver version 411+ back to driver version 337.88)
Probably solves the problem I had in H12 too, where polygon faces would not show in viewport (primitives worked).
so yeah, cheers

You guys are the epitome of awesomness :p
thanks a bunch joker, imma study your file vigorously.
(though I must also ask, how come some points don't get colored red?)

alright, i've done a small mod to the file u gave me
the random coloring is now affected by a control x)
Onwards to the next part, which i guess would be the way the color spreads itself slowly across the surface?
Any tips on how I can get started on that?

I'm looking to create a transition of one material to another.
Much like seen here http://youtu.be/Jz-7Di2s4yY?t=56s [youtu.be]
I've been pondering about it, and can't really find a solution.
Is attribtransfer the solution?
Any help would be very appreciated
thanks~
