Hi,
check the file and see if this is what you are after. All I did is scale the pieces down and reduce the count of voronoi pieces. Hope this is what you are looking for.

Hi,
All I could do for you is giving the random scale for each particle. For the rotation I think you need to use vop and don't know how to do it. Sorry.

I think the simplest method would be to group those first 10 points and name it, for example excludeFirst10 and another group for the remaining points. You apply foreach for this last group, where you have the rest of the points.
0-9 is going to be the pattern for the first 10 points to be included in the excludeFirst10 group.

Yes, this is all and sorry for not elaborating. The good thing is that you learned by yourself and it is better this way.

Hi,
I have a problem with some constraints. I have set up a packed geometry for the woods. A sphere hit some wood stuff and the woods instead of just breaking they freeze, exactly after they got hit by the sphere. It is a bullet solver. Maybe some of you know a solution.
Have a look at the video attached.
Thank you.

Hello,
I want to connect the small polygons to the pieces they belong but I have no idea how to do it. Can someone help me with that? Please see the picture and also the file attached.

Hello
I have made a scene where some particles are born on a surface and shoot out in a certain direction and collide with an object. What I want to achieve is that when they collide with the object I want them to change the shape and take color of the object.
Everything works but they loose the shape after the collision and I want them to keep the color (which they do) and the shape until they die.
What I do not know is how can I make the particles keep the shape I give them after the collision till they die?
See the attached file.
Thank you very much in advance
Daniel

Hello,
I am using H13 learning edition and I wanted to ask why can I not see the group name in the gravity field?
What I did is
- fractured a sphere with voronoi,
- then I made a group named yellow
When a box intersects this sphere, those ones (the fractured pieces intersecting with the box) goes in this yellow group and I only wanted the yellow group to be affected by the gravity, but there is no group yellow in the gravity field so I can choose. Somehow this group is lost somewhere.
Does anyone has any idea how can I pass this group to gravity?
Thank you very much.

Hello,
I have downloaded houdini 13 learning edition and trying follow a tutorial on youtube about elasticity but i cannot find the flip elasticity node. I tried to look for it also in the help file but is not there. So this is actually my question. Where can i find flip elasticity node in houdini 13?
Thank you

Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately I am not such an advanced user of Houdini. I will try to play with what you already pointed to me.

Hello everybody,
I have started a scene with a cloth simulation - nothing complicated, just a plane dropping on a box - and I would like to add a wind force, which I did but from this moment the cloth do not fall down anymore. If I disable the wind force, then it falls but with the wind enabled, it continuous flies.
I tried to increase the gravity scale and reduce the wind force but I think that this is not the approach of just increasing the gravity.
So could anyone tell me how should I approach it?
Thank you very much
